This is my take on Calendula & Rosehip Face Serum from VedaSun. I believe that anyone could use this serum alone or under a moisturizer because it is so light that it penetrates quickly and effectively. But I think those that will appreciate it the most are those in the over-30 group that need a bit more moisture. The skin feels softer and more nourished after using. I especially like how my mineral makeup looks and feels after using it.

The emotional side of this product really sets it apart from other serums. When I put the oil into my hand the beautiful scent wafts up to greet me in such a lovely way. It's an earthy, herbal scent that is so warm and inviting. Between the warm brown tones on the bottle and the warm fragrance from the essential oil blend, I get such a delightful cozy feeling. Heaven knows we can all use more of that! Gina, the owner and formulator of VedaSun (as well as a reflexologist), is a very warm and nurturing person. I feel that this product is a true reflection of her.

The ingredients that have been chosen in this blend are perfection. · Use as a daily moisturizer by itself or under your regular cream moisturizer for added hydration

· Use water to work it in – if you are very dry, use more serum and less water and if have oily skin, use less serum and more water to work the serum in

· Great to put on cuticles and hands before going to bed

· Can be used under makeup, but just wait 5 minutes for serum to penetrate before applying makeup
