Got dryness? Well do we have a Product Spotlight for you! When I first received this Butter Bar from Herbal Garden, I began using it on those areas that get chapped or extra dry, like cuticles, elbows and feet. Worked like a charm! It really helped to make the skin soft and nice. I also love the scent, mine was Lavender. It's an all-natural moisturizer, so what could be better?

It wasn't until I tried it on my lips however, that I fell madly in LOVE with this product!!! If you were around back in the early 70's you may remember a product that was designed for young girls by Bonne Bell. It was a lip balm in stick form that was very wide. It came in exciting (though not natural) scents such as Watermelon, Root beer, etc... Well I do remember that product, and I guess it's something that I never forgot about. Because when I went to use the Butter Bar on my lips I immediately had a wonderful memory of my youth, and those Bonne Bell lip balms!

But here's the thing, I'm all grown up now, and would NEVER go back to the old ways of using synthetic fragrances. Especially not in a product for use on such a vulnerable place as my lips! The Butter Bar is completely all-natural in every way, from the Shea Butter to the Bees Wax to the Essential Oils used for the scent. The proportion of oils and butters is JUST right, because the consistency of the balm is PERFECT. It has great 'lip feel' and great 'staying power'. I can put this on and it will last for hours!

I absolutely love this product. I highly recommend it as a lip balm or as a skin repair stick. It's remarkable for either purpose. Hey, Fall is here, it's time to soften up and get back to nourishing our skin and souls. You're going to enjoy this one!
