'Sheer Pleasure' is the
term that I would use to describe the new 'Custom
Blends'™
line from Grateful Body.
From start to finish these three product
have lived up to and have even exceeded my expectations! Already being
familiar with Grateful Body's high standards, my expectations were set
quite high, so this is a real accomplishment.
The new 'Custom Blends'
system is a revolutionary way of basically creating your own skin care
line, based on the needs of your unique complexion. The process begins by
visiting the Grateful Body website and clicking on the 'Custom Blends'
banner on the home page. It automatically takes you to the 'Customize
Your Cleanser' page. If you plan on purchasing all 3 products this is
the perfect place to begin. Otherwise you may begin by choosing from one
of the three Custom Blended Products, the Cleanser, the Aquative or the
Moisturizer.
The Custom Blended Cleanser page is your place
to design the cleanser of your dreams, while Grateful Body does all of the
work! They have researched and developed the perfect specialty ingredients
for you to choose from based on your own skins needs. First you check the
box that best suits your basic cleanser needs (there are 3 types). Then
the real fun begins as you choose the 'Boosters'. There are 4 to choose
from, but they recommend that you select up to 2. To learn more about what
the boosters do you simply click on the
'About Cleanser Boosters' link where everything is spelled out,
including the ingredients. Once you've chosen your boosters, you may then
choose the scent for your new cleanser, and what a choice you have! There
are 5 to choose between, including the very special Limited Edition Scent
that I chose. To learn more about them, you just click on the
'All About Cleanser Scents' link where everything is spelled out in
full exotic details. How could you not choose a scent whose
description reads like an Arabian romance novel? Here is a tidbit from the
'Limited Edition' scent: "...Picture the innovative princess of Neroli in
the late 1600's, Anne Marie Orsini, turning heads and noses as the first
to perfume herself with the essence of bitter orange, refreshingly
spicy-yet-floral. Neroli blossoms gift us with their capacity to pass
along the gentle, soothing warmth of the soil and sun in which they grew.
As you stroll around the corner of a high stone wall covered in vines,
Jasmine joins the aromatic symphony, bringing the exotic tint of spacious

Once you've selected
your cleanser type, your boosters, and your scent, you are asked for 2
more bits of information, your name and the level of sensitivity of your
skin. Since this is made exclusively for you, they make sure to hand write
your name on the packaging that your exclusive hand-blended creation comes
in. Your sensitivity level is just one more piece of the puzzle for them
to make sure that the product is just right for you. Voila! Your
hand-blended creation has now been designed, by you. Once you are
completely finished and submit your order, it will go to the skilled
artisans that will complete your design and make an exquisite beauty
product for you to indulge in.
The designing of the
other two products is done basically the same, using different Boosters
and Scents. Everything is spelled out clearly along the way. There is no
confusion, just fun. If you're like me you'll enjoy the fact that a
company truly cares about your skins uniqueness, and that it deserves its
very own custom-blended products! When your order arrives, each product is
beautifully wrapped in its own little tube bearing your name. Keep

Cleanser
My review continued: Ooh La La! I chose
the decadent 'Limited Edition' scent ($27 for the scent choice
alone), and I'll tell you what... Marie Anne Orsini's got nothin' on
me when I use this gorgeous cleanser! It is simply a delight to use!
It effectively removes all dirt and makeup, leaving my skin feeling
firm, plump and ready to go. It is perfection. I love the
consistency of the product as well, light, not greasy and goes right
into the skin while having beautiful slip to complete the task. Did
I say perfection? I meant it! And the scent is one of the most
beautiful that I've ever witnessed. I LOVE this product!!!

Aquative
My review continued: Gorgeously gorgeous!
Another winner! I love the fact that I was able to add the boosters
to make this an incredibly active product just for my own needs (I
chose the following boosters: Adaptogenic, Juliette Levy & Collagen
Matrix). The amazing thing is that I LOVE the scent, and I didn't
even choose a scent. Therefore, what I'm smelling are the botanicals
that I've chosen. Wow, I love the fact that the perfect botanicals
for my skin type smell that divine to me. It's a match made in
heaven!

Moisturizer
My review continued:
One pump of product is all
you will need as it easily spreads into the skin on your face and
neck.
Oh so glorious! The scent, again I chose the Limited Edition scent,
and boy am I glad that I did! This is a small portion of what it
says at the Grateful Body site about this luxuriously heady scent:
"Let White Ginger Lily, Sandalwood, and Attar of Tuberose transport
you to an exotic and graceful sense of being! Our aroma artist has
chosen three particularly fine essences to create this delicate,
richly feminine and exotic fragrance." One word... LOVE! Beyond it's
unbelievably incredible scent though, this is an effective,
beautiful moisturizer that does exactly what it's supposed to. My
skin feels baby bottom soft and truly luscious to the touch. This
moisturizer is like the icing on the cake which makes these 3
products the ones to get. You are going to absolutely LOVE this
product and trio of all-natural staples for your beauty regimen.
