To say that something is perfect is a pretty bold statement. Evan's Garden calls their skin serum "The Perfect Rose". Does it live up to what the name implies? I think that it does!

We all have heard about the beautiful healing benefits of the Rose. As you probably know, Rose essential oil is one of the most expensive and gorgeous EO's around. This serum has the most beautiful scent, which makes it a pleasure to use. To describe it, I would say that it's a floral-earthy scent, deep yet romantic.

There was a particular day this summer where I threw all caution to the wind and sat in the sun for much longer than I should have. The result was a red face that I knew needed some extra help. I began a program of adding The Perfect Rose every day and kept the area soft and dewy. The skin never peeled (like it usually would have). Instead, it remained soft, and never dried out. The skin actually improved and looked better and better, resulting in a firmer skin that felt very soft. I certainly don't recommend getting too much sun. But this product really showed it's stuff in the healing department through that experience.

Evan recommends using this product with your moisturizer, and I agree that it enhances the effects of the moisturizer. I've also used this product in place of a moisturizer at times and felt that it did the job quite effectively. It's viscous like an oil, yet it penetrates right into the skin, and doesn't leave any kind of an oily residue. You don't need much, and your bottle should last for quite awhile.

I know that you are going to love this serum. It's great as an every day treatment, or used to heal skin damage. It's really quite a "perfect" product.
