| "Our Favorite Facial" is our most requested treatment. This treatment is designed to target specific skin conditions such as sun damage, fine lines, and blemishes. Each treatment is customized to meet the client's needs, there is of course cleansing and steaming of the skin, we exfoliate the skin using natural ingredients such as finely ground oatmeal or jojoba beads, then extractions are completed for skin with congested pores or acne, then the treatment may include mud masks for oily or acne prone skin, botanical extracts, treatment ampules, essential oils, oxygenated water therapy, hydrating gel masks for dry skin, deep pore cleansing masks, and aromatherapy. Usually two masks are included in the treatment. We blend the products with fresh ingredients for use on the spot in our blending bar, and make the products available for home use. The treatment lasts 80 minutes, sometimes longer depending on our clients' needs. |

Our services are 100%
natural, we do not use petroleum based products or any products which
contain synthetic ingredients when we complete skin care and body
treatments for our clients. We also specialize in sensitive skin.
We create the majority
of the treatment products within the salon from organic carrier oils,
organic essential oils and organic fruits, as well as other organic
substances, such as fresh aloe vera juice, organic honey, and
herbs. Our method of hair removal is done with sugar, fruit juices and
essential oils. We also use Aroma Bella products and Living Nature
products for skin care and we offer those products and other natural
products for sale in our store. We carry the Earth's Beauty line of
mineral cosmetics. The tissues and cotton we use to complete the
treatments are dioxin free. We use spring water and oxygenated
distilled water to complete our facials.
The majority of nail
and many hair products are full of highly irritating chemicals. We
don't offer nail or hair services, at this time. Since we do not use
any synthetic perfumes, our air space within the salon is thoroughly
fresh and clean, with revitalizing scents of lavender, rose,
chamomile, lemon, mint and other essential oils Our clients (and the
mailman, delivery guys, etc.) just love it when they come in and smell the
freshly scented air in our salon. We get quite a few comments (and
blissful looks on people's faces) about how great it smells in here
for a beauty salon.
It has not been easy to
maintain the high standards that we set when we opened our holistic
skin care practice two year ago. We've had experiences which I'm sure
we share with others, where we ordered products we were told were
natural, only to find out that they contain some natural ingredients
along with controversial chemicals, such as triclosan.
Our environment is warm
and cozy, with earth tones, and natural textures. We are
holistic health practitioners, who love the harmonious working
environment we've created and we thoroughly enjoy sharing, with those
discerning souls who have managed to find us despite our limited
advertising budget and relaxed business sensibilities, just how
wonderful your whole body feels when you stop placing irritating
synthetic substances on the skin, and start using mother nature's
wonderfully healing substances.
